Pearl Harbor Survivors Among Honorees

November 4th at New World Landing, the twelve local chapters of the Combined Rotary Clubs of Greater Pensacola honored Pensacola area military personnel, both active duty, veterans, retirees and supporting staff with a Military Appreciation luncheon. Guest Speaker was Lieutenant General Duane D. Thiessen, President/CEO Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. Each Pearl Harbor Survivor was introduced. Jake Gallawa just entered the room when his name was announced. He was thrilled as a wave of applause crossed the room.
